The first place Cubs look to take two of three from there rivals, the Washington Nationals. The Nats came into yesterday's game 11-3. The hot players right now on their roster are, Danny Espinosa, Daniel Murphy, and of course the captain of their team Bryce Harper. Harper has been hot ever since he got to the bigs. Harper has already hit over 100 homer, over 500 RBI's. And the kid has only been in the bigs since 2010 and he's only 22 years old!!! Now for the cubs, how about that kid. Albert Almora jr. Almora hit over .300 in triple A. And due to the injury of Jorge Soler. It was time for Almora's MLB debut. Almora had a pinch hit single against the Braves with an RBI and yesterday came in clutch with an RBI double. Now the question is, what will the cubs do when soler comes off the DL? We shall find out.

Bears OL Manny Ramirez retires from the NFL at the age of 33
Chicago Bears OL Manny Ramirez had a very dreadful season last year after being out for the whole season with a crack bone in his back. Ramirez was a star college player for Texas Tech University. Ramirez was a fourth round pick in the 2009 draft by the Detroit Lions. He did not have a good two years with Detroit. So then he decided to take his talents to Denver. Ramirez played two seasons for the Broncos and had an amazing two years over there. But then In the offseason Ramirez took a huge 110 million dollar deal. But the only bad thing is that Ramirez was charged with domestic violence and the Broncos terminated his contract after 2013. After Manny was released he returned to Detroit were he had an amazing season but it only lasted one year. Ramirez had 45 tackles and one forced fumble in his second skid with the Lions. So Ramirez signed a 3 year 45 million dollar contract with the Bears but then said he was dealing with some family issue's and the bears understood and suggested that he'd retire. And so he did after 10 seasons in the NFL.

Cubs OF Jason Heyward in a huge slump??
Chicago Cubs OF Jason Heyward is in one of the biggest slumps ever!! Heyward is batting around .220 with 1 home run and 18 RBI's. Heyward will be earning an estimate 26.4 million dollars this year and is expected to opt out of his contract by the end of the 2020 season. One of the main concerns for Heyward was the horrific injury in San Fransisco. Heyward previously played for the Atlanta Braves and the St. Louis Cardinals. Matter a fact, Heyward hit his first home run off of former Cubs pitcher Carlos Zambrano. Now the question is what will the Cubs do at the trade deadline? Will they trade Heyward or for pitching? or no? The Cubs are looking to get a bullpen relief pitcher that is a lefty. What will they do? The Cubs take on the Dodgers tonight for the series finally this afternoon at 1:05pm.
