More MLB signings!!!!

There have been some moves in the past couple of days in MLB. Last night the Baltimore Orioles made the Dexter Fowler 3-year 35-million dollar deal official last night. Fowler rejected a qualifying arbitration offer from the Cubs that was worth 15.1 million dollars, but according to Fowler's agent he was looking for a long term deal worth at least 16.5 million a year. But I'm glad that the Cubs didn't offer him a big deal with the signings of Jason Hayward and with Jorge Soler and Alberto Almora expected to come up sometime during spring call-ups. According to ESPN the Chicago Cubs have traded OF-Chris Coghlan to the Oakland Athletics for RHP-Arron Brooks. Brooks recently pitched for the the Royals from 2014-2015 but was released and signed by the Athletics late July. Baltimore is a very active team right now in the free-agent market as they picked up SS-Paul Janish, Dexter Fowler and then last night reached a deal with 29-year old Yovani Gallardo to a 2-year deal. According to Gallardo's agent the contract is worth 2-years 22-million dollars. So that add's up to about 11 million a year. But Gallardo is on a no trade clause and can not opt out. So he is locked in as a Baltimore Oriole for 2 years.

Bulls talking trades?

Image result for demarcus cousinsLet's talk basketball. Today is the biggest day for trades and negotiation. The Bulls are doing both, a little bit of buying players and selling players. Now the bulls have a couple players under there radar. The have center DeMarcus Cousins from the Sacramento Kings. Now according to last night's sources the bulls are willing to give up Pau Gasol, Taj Gibson. But in return the bulls are looking for at least 2 talented players and a 1st round pick. Right now the bulls are currently working on a deal for DeMarcus Cousins. Another trade candidate for the bulls is power forward Paul Millsap. But the only issue is that the hawks are asking for a package that includes Derrick Rose, Pau Gasol, and SG E'twan Moore. What will the Bulls do at today's trade deadline. The trade deadline is today at 3 pm eastern time. We'll see what happens in the next 3 and a half hours.

Blackhawks on a roll!!!

Image result for blackhawks vs stars

If you are a big hockey fan or just a regular hockey fan you probably herd about the Blackhawks 12-game winning streak. But that winning streak was snapped by the team that they will be facing tonight. Patrick Sharp and the Dallas Stars at the United Center for the 2nd time in two weeks. Now the Blackhawks streak was broken in Dallas about 3 weeks ago but the Hawks came back roaring to a 5-1 win in Chicago and they are hoping for the same tonight. Now the only injury for the Blackhawks is forward Marcus Kruger. Now Kruger dislocated his wrist about 2 months ago and had surgery December 18th so he should be returning in about a month. Injury report for the Dallas Stars.

Are the Cubs still not done in free-agency

Don't think that the Cubs are done with free-agency because they're still active with Dexter Fowler and top infielders still on the market. Even though the Cubs have made a lot of big moves and have a high roster for every position, they are still looking for players that will be willing to play for  Joe Maddon and will be willing to be apart of the Cubs championship team. The Cubs have only lost Starlin Castro in a trade with Yankees, other than that everyone else will be on the Cubs roster

Bulls in a slump

Image result for bullsAgain the Chicago Bulls fall short to theUtah Jazz by the score of 105-96. The Bulls were up in overtime by a score of 96-90, But Gordon Hayward and the jazz went on a 15-0 run to pass up the Bulls. Does this mean that Derrick Rose's career in Chicago is over? We will see by the time the 2015-2016  offseason comes. I've herd from some sources that the LA Lakers, New York Knicks, Miami Heat, New Orleans Pelicans have shown interest in Derrick Rose. Now the question is will the Bulls trade Derrick away or terminate his contract? According to sources Rose has 2 years worth 35 million dollars still on his contract after this year. Now I have herd that the Lakers are willing to play off Derricks contract by the 2019 season. Now the question is will Derrick be willing to get his contract paid off by 2019? We will see
